welcome by snopeks!
You will find here a lot of information
about the Snopeks. Of course, the list of the whole family is step by step updated
not only with its new-born members, but also with those who passed away. With those
who are not among us any more, but about whom also we want to know who they were,
when and how they lived. Hopefully also thanks to you we will manage to collect
utmost information about us. Should you have some interesting and relevant
information, I will be glad if you let me know about it via the contact
stated in the section GENEALOGY.

After the visit of the archive in Topoľčany, the Family Tree was complemented by the missing data from 1895 – 1906 referring mainly to the family of Adam Snopek from Ruskovce, children of my great-grandfather Štefan and his brother Jozef Snopek, later resident in Nové Mesto nad Váhom. Also added were the "heads" of some living persons (acquired especially in Tarabovec).
All findings are added in words in the section the Snopeks, which was slightly modified.

On 30 August 2009 the first big meeting of the Snopeks originating from Čuklasovce took place in Tarabovec. Although not all could participate, there were a lot of us. The greatest merit belongs to Ervin Snopek, but also to all who helped him. We all would like to thank them very much and hope that such a meeting becomes a tradition. At the beginning there was a holy mass in commemoration of Štefan Snopek and Augustína Priečinská, their siblings and their children, which was celebrated by the father Štefan Bebjak. Photos of the meeting are also available.
The section Tarabovec complemented by the localisation in the satellite picture and extract from the cadastral map of Cimenna from 19th century.
